Hi everyone! I have now finished my 6th week of working out, I feel great! I run my mile and then do about 40 minutes of weights, 6 days a week. I upped my weights on some exercises last week so that’s encouraging. 💪

I would like to lost 7/8lbs overall. I have now consistently lost 1, however I measured my waist today and I’ve lost a full inch off my waist! Yay! 😃
I’m just fully committed to this being my lifestyle now. I love seeing the changes. It goes so slow at first though but this is life changing and things take hard work and time.
I can’t imagine where I was for so long. Drinking every night, dealing with morning hangovers. I’d even say to myself some mornings “Well this morning isn’t as bad as yesterday so that’s good.” Good? Complete irrational thinking to be happy that one mornings hangover wasn’t as bad as the previous. Now I wake up rested and excited for my day. The war with alcohol is no joke. Took me about 2 years to get to this point in my life. I feel my 50’s are going to be the best yet! ( I’m not quite 50 yet. )
Well just wanted to update that after 6 weeks I’m finally seeing progress and I’m super psyched about that! I’ve got to 50 ounces of water a day so far, 60 is my next goal. I pee clear at 50 ounces and that was my goal! ✔️
Anywho, thanks for reading! Lovie and Dwight, you inspired me to take a selfie! 😍🙌🏻
🥰 Jackie

You so should! 😃 Man it takes forever to see any progress. I mean I feel stronger for sure but to actually see the progress takes awhile. 😆 Glad I stuck to it though!
Yay!!! Keep the updates coming. I love them!
Thanks so much Leafy!! 😍🥰😍🥰
Its funny how one can feel so miserable for so long that it just becomes our normal. When we change our lives and start feeling better, it is so exhilarating . I had no idea how stressed out and sick and exhausted I was when I retired and now every day I am more excited about my life and my future.
Yes to all of this! Walking around happier and with being stronger I’m more confident as well! It really is exhilarating!!
