Heading into week 4

Hello friends! I am now heading into week 4 of my run a mile and do weights 6 days a week.

Best thing now is consistency, I have now established a routine to stick to. I started off doing my workouts after work. I did them but who wants to work out after work? First I really love my alone/quiet time in the mornings. That time I cherish now that I’m not daily drinking. So to do my workout ( which takes about 50 minutes to an hour ) in the mornings I needed to get up earlier than normal. My normal time is 5:15am. This is fine when I need to be at work at 9am. When I need to be to work at 8am, we’ll that’s hard and makes for a fast paced morning after my quiet time. I’m on my feet all day at work as well. But last week I decided to get up at 4:45am each day, have an hour of quiet/coffee time and then work out. Then shower and get ready for work. I couldn’t believe how much I loved the adrenalin rush of getting it DONE. Starting my day off feeling ACCOMPLISHED! I’m sold and that’s going to be my new routine now.

So that’s my biggest accomplishment last week. I haven’t lost any weight however I feel much stronger and just overall better. I may have to start tracking my food intake. I bet I’m not in a calorie deficit and that’s why but I’m not too worried about it. Maybe that will be my next goal, just to see exactly what I am eating calorie wise and such. Funny thing is this morning I saved this recipe! 😂🤣😂🤣 🤷‍♀️

I also joined Dwight’s Volly app and checking in and being accountable has helped tremendously!! He mentioned Volly in one of his blogs, check it out on the Volly app! http://fadedjeanslivingcheckins.com/ We all know Dwight is a huge motivator! 💪✔️😃

As always thank you for reading!

😃💪 Jackie

  2. I haven’t lost much weight either, but my lifting weights make me feel better! Well done! xoxo
